Who we are

A ministry that was not planned

In August 2018 Irene Mudyirwa was called out of the mainstream church and given an order of ministry she had not asked for. Everything here follows from that one instruction.

A gathering
Singing together
Praying together

Small rooms, open doors

No building, no production, no platform. People in rooms and on calls, working through the text together and praying for one another by name.

How this began

Statement of Faith

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, in His death, burial, and resurrection.

In the Ekklesia we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, in His death, burial, and resurrection, and that He truly came in the flesh for the redemption and restoration of mankind.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and that the shedding of His blood was not only for the forgiveness of sins, but for the fulfilment of the eternal purpose of God concerning humanity: the perfecting of the body, the restoration of all things, and the bringing of creation into the fullness for which it was originally purposed.

We believe that the work of Jesus Christ is a complete work of restoration. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, He dealt with the state of death and opened the way for mankind to be brought into life, perfection, incorruption, and immortality.

Our mission

The restoration of all things by God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mandated by the Lord to fulfill the restoration of the breath at the face of the Lord. Through the priestly ministry of the Order of Melchizedek: healing, deliverance, and the change from mortality to immortality, and from corruption to incorruption.

Who serves

Named plainly, in office

Irene teaches. Patience and Rose serve as seers, so that what is received can be checked.

Irene Mudyirwa

Founder and teacher

Irene Mudyirwa

Irene was a Pastor in the mainstream church from 2009 to 2018. Then called out to start this Ekklesia since August 2018.

Dr Patience Howland

Dr Patience Howland

Dr Patience Howland was chosen and mandated by God since 2016 to behold and communicate divine revelations concerning His mysteries, purposes, and work of restoration. Through visions granted by the Holy Spirit, she faithfully describes what is revealed, serving as witnesses through whom the hidden things of God are brought into understanding.

Rose

Seer · commissioned May 2026

Rose

Rose was chosen and commissioned by God beginning in May 2026 to receive and share divine revelations about His mysteries, purposes, and restorative work. What we do

Our ministries

Bible study, prayer, worship, children, outreach and the teaching library.

Bible study

Bible Study

Midweek, online, a few verses at a time.

Bible Study

We work through one book slowly rather than skipping between topics. Questions are welcome mid-sentence and nobody is expected to have read ahead. Currently in Hebrews.

Prayer

Prayer

A standing list, and an hour together on Fridays.

Prayer

Requests arrive by WhatsApp. Nothing you write goes beyond those who pray. The Friday hour has no teaching and no agenda.

Worship

Worship

Unhurried, and mostly unaccompanied.

Worship

No band and no production. Closer to singing together in a room than to a set. If you play and want to serve, tell us.

Children

Children

Held alongside the Sunday gathering.

Children

Younger children stay with their families for the first part, then have their own time. Write to us before you bring a child if you would like to know how that hour is held.

Outreach

Outreach

Zimbabwe, the UK, and wherever the teaching travels.

Outreach

Mostly this means making the teaching free and available to anyone. Practical outreach is co-ordinated locally rather than run centrally.

Teaching library

Teaching Library

Every recorded teaching, plus the scripture index.

Teaching Library

The whole archive is on YouTube at no cost, and the scripture library here indexes the passages we keep returning to, with notes to download.

Wherever you are

Three continents, one table

Zimbabwe, the United Kingdom, North America. The call opens and the distance stops mattering.

Teaching

Sermons & teaching

The archive is free, newest first. Clips are kept to eight minutes. Start anywhere — most people start with Melchizedek.

Every teaching, newest first, straight from the channel.

Life together

What a gathering actually looks like

From arriving to afterwards.

Arriving

Arriving

People drift in for ten minutes before anything starts. That part matters.

Singing

Singing

Unaccompanied, unhurried, and nobody minds how you sound.

Teaching

The teaching

One passage, opened slowly, with the text on screen so you can follow.

Praying

Praying

By name, out loud, for whatever people have actually brought.

Questions

Questions

Interrupting is encouraged. Most weeks the questions run longer than the teaching.

Afterwards

Afterwards

The call stays open. Some people talk for another hour.

An open invitation

Come and sit at the back

You can join a call with your camera off and say nothing for six months. Nobody will chase you, and nobody will ask you to introduce yourself.

Need prayer?

You don’t have to walk through it alone. Someone reads every request that comes in, and you will hear back.

There is room

There is a place for you here

Wherever you are, whatever you are carrying, and whatever you have made of church before now.

Come as you are

There is a place for you here

You can sit at the back of a call with your camera off for six months. Nobody will chase you. When you want to go further, here is how.
